Surprize!

Well, for the past seven months, I have spent every second Sunday afternoon at the Piedmont Freethought Association monthly meeting.

The local fellowship-starved Autonomous Bondage Thinker society members get together to worship Richard Dawkins and their own personal avoidance techniques for their sin. The Good News is that regardless of the presence of a Christian Witness to the Grace of God in the Person and Sacrificial Atonement of Jesus Christ, God will do with the members of the PFA members what He wills, and they dont like to hear that.

Romans 1

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

Unbelief and Its Consequences
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents,31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful;32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Well, this Sunday will be different. I will be taking a nap to the surprize of the PFA members. So to you my friends in the PFA;

Option 1: Repent while you have time.
Option 2: Stay alive as long as you can.

I'll take a nap too, hoping that a seed was planted that will bring forth fruit by the power of the Sovereign.

Well, the gray mouser found Multifaceted-Christianity. blogspot.com.

Trolling for some interaction or are you hoping to be an irratation?

Let's assume you really need some interaction with a Christian:

To answer your question, The Surprize (sp? I like the "z" where I put it) is that I was going to honor my word and stay away. I presumed, (and you verified with your combox request) that it was a surprize for the PFA members when they read the Shepherd's Fellowship Blog. You really did not expect me to stay away. Now the question is: did you expect me to violate my word to leave when asked because you believe that Christians are just Jesus Bullies? Sure sounds that way to me.

So, how about giving my blog posts an honest read and read the entirety of the posts, even the Scriptures. If done, you will benefit from the acknowledgement of the difficult truth that God is the one who saves, not me and my best efforts to invade a group that purports to be free thinkers entertaining any proposition that has sufficient proof of "truthiness". Even an avowed naturalist will give way to truth when it is overwhelming when they STOP SUPPRESSING THE TRUTH IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS (romans 1),.. er, uh, you will know that God is saving you when you willingly do so. For many atheists and some arminian christians the proposition that God is the Sovereign of the universe and controls all things, yes including EVIL and the "free"will of man, this may make you just a little bit uneasy. But be of good cheer: God is able to and will do what He decrees!

Any other questions? I'm pleased to answer from the Christian Worldview, and to be held accountable for error,.. if you find error based on the Scriptures, just let 'er rip (as Pastor Dustin says ;-) )

Thanks!

grey mouser took his toys and went home. Must be ashamed, or intimidated, or perhaps his/her mommy spanked her/him and called richard dawkins or stephen hawking and were told that dialogue/debate raised Christianity to a status that the atheist considers credible.

I'll retrieve the post and undo the denial of reality,...
